Protection of your personal data is very important to us. Since the protection of your privacy and your business data is especially important to us, we shall observe the data protection laws applicable in Germany and we shall obligate our employees engaged in connection with the contract and its performance to preserve data secrecy according to Article 5 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), if they are not yet generally obligated to do so.
Further, we would like to provide you with full information about what data is collected when you visit our website and use our offers therein, as well as how the data is later processed and used by us, and what accompanying security measures have also been taken regarding technical and organizational issues.

2. 2. Collection and processing of personal data

(1) When you just visit the online shop, we do not collect any personal data. However, every server automatically saves access to websites. For the purpose of meeting its contractual obligations and system security, our web server temporary records the IP number of the accessing computer, the browser and operating system you used, date and time of access, websites visited, Uniform Resource Locators (URL) accessed on our website and the previously visited websites (referrer URL). This information is saved anonymously. It is not possible to draw any conclusions about your person or your individual behaviour.

(2) PC-related data are saved by us to observe trends and generate statistics. In this way, we can collect valuable information about the user behaviour and evaluate the use of the website. The saved data are also used to identify and trace attempts for unauthorised access to our server.
We create profile information about the use of own websites only anonymously and to improve user navigation and optimise the offer according to the user interests. No personal surf profiles or similar profiles are created or processed on this basis.

(1) We collect, save and process your transferred personal data (for example, your name, address and phone number or e-mail and the data required for billing, such as orders, products and sales figures), if they are necessary for handling queries, orders or fulfilling our contractual obligations. To simplify this task, your data are exchanged under some circumstances with third parties involved in processing orders and billing.

(2) Your registered data and billing data are always encrypted by SSL connection when transferred in our systems. This protects the communication between you and our server and prevents data abuse. We employ a recognized and widely used system for encryption, which always remains secure in its updated version.

(1) We will preserve the secrecy of all information which must be handled confidentially and which has become known to us within the framework of this contractual relationship. Alternatively, we shall employ such information with third parties only upon prior written consent of the other contractual partner, irrespective of the purpose. The information which must be handled confidentially includes information which has been clearly identified as confidential by the disclosing party and the information which can clearly be recognized as confidential due to the circumstances accompanying its disclosure. In particular, we must handle your personal data and the used data confidentially, if they become known to us.

(2) The obligations under clause 1 shall not apply to the information or parts thereof, if we can prove that it

had been known to us before the start date or has been available to the public;
had been known to the public before the start date or has been generally accessible;
has been known to the public or has been generally accessible after the start date, without any fault of ours.

(3) Public statements of the parties about the cooperation shall only be released after prior mutual consent.

(4) The obligations under clause 1 shall also remain in force for an indefinite period after the end of the contract, and as long as an exemption under clause 2 is not verified.
